Leadership

Jonathan and his wife Amanda of 21 years, daughter Maddie (17) and son Corbin (14) came to Mount Carmel in June of 2026 on mission to Advance the Gospel in and beyond Lake City. Over the last 26 years he has served at every level of ministry, from volunteer youth leader to lead pastor. Over that time, the Holy Spirit has shaped this family through ministry and grown a passion to know Christ and make Him known. While serving in the local church, he attended Liberty University pursuing a BA of Science in Religion and minored in Christian Counseling. He has a heart for making disciples of Jesus Christ, who make disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Colby is a native of Lake City, FL. He and his wife, Victoria, married in 2021. They moved to Kansas City, MO, in 2023, where Colby joined the Accelerate program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have since moved back to Lake City, and Colby is continuing his education at MBTS in pursuit of his Masters of Divinity.  They have a daughter, Milena(2), and a son, Shepherd (1). Colby became the Next-Gen pastor in December of 2024, but he has been a part of Mount Carmel for most of his life.
