We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, grow in Christian community, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

Preaching the Word of God is central to the Mission of God. Truth is found in Jesus. Hope is found in Jesus. Joy is found in Jesus. Salvation, which is eternal life, comes from Jesus. We have a responsibility to share the Word with the world. We will never knowingly deviate from the Word of God.

Discipleship for you and your family.

At Mount Carmel we exist to equip the saints for ministry. We know that Jesus commanded us to teach, but we also know that everyone does not begin in the same place on their discipleship journey. Whether you have elementary age students, middle schoolers and high schoolers, are new to Christianity, or have been diving deep into the Scriptures for decades, we have a place for you to plug into a discipleship environment where you will grow.

Our Mission

Our mission at Mount Carmel is to declare the glory of God. In doing so, we commit to come alongside believers to equip and encourage them to be lifelong followers of Christ. We use this three-word vision statement to help define this: Discover. Disciple. Deploy.

Our Vision

Discover

The chief end of man is to know God and enjoy Him forever. Like the man described in the parable of the Hidden Treasure found in Matthew 13:44, who upon discovering the glory of God, sold all that he had in order to obtain it. As a church, we desire to lead ALL people into discovering this same treasure. If you fit into the “ALL people” category, then Jesus came to be your Savior. We desire for everyone to find the joy of knowing God and enjoying Him forever.

Disciple

Faith in Jesus is the only way by which one comes to walk with God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We strive to equip and encourage others to grow into the fullness of our Lord. In other words, we exist to make disciples that make disciples, as we are commanded to teach others who Jesus is and to obey all that God has commanded through the Holy Scriptures (Matthew 28:18-20). 

Deploy

The greatest need the world has is God. The most loving action we can take as Christians is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with ALL peoples. We believe God created the church for that mission. We are ambassadors for the Kingdom of God here on earth, Christ making His appeal through us. We know that God is reconciling the world to Himself through the worship and work of His church (2 Corinthians 5:19). We seek to see every member engaged in the spreading of the gospel of the glory of Christ, whether in their neighborhood or on the other side of the world. Just as God the Father sent His Son Jesus into the world to save us, as followers of Jesus, we are also sent into the world to tell how Jesus came to save.
