Leadership Crisis in America
We are in a crisis in America: a moral crisis and a crisis of leadership. The character of our national leadership is crucial, and we, the people, make important decisions about who leads this country.
The Bible says a lot about leadership as well as what to consider when choosing leaders.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2).
As we face this leadership crisis in America, it’s important to vote. Voting is an act of obedience to God.
And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” (Matthew 22:21).
In America, our “Caesar” is a democratic government. The very genius of our government is that the people participate at every level. God Almighty did not ordain the institution of government and then
tell His people to stay out of it. We have a responsibility to influence the direction and leadership of our nation. When we choose who will lead our nation, there are four biblical principles we must consider.
