Friendships and relationships with family members can often be tricky to navigate. Every now and then disputes arise and arguments lead us to part ways... even if it's only temporarily. What happens when that friend or relative calls for help? What is the first thing we do? Typically, we begin to consider what they of done for us lately or how they treated us when the disagreement came. Then, we attempt to figure out how what we can do to help that will require the least amount of effort on our part.

When Lot needs Abraham's help after they part ways over quarreling between their servants, Abraham doesn't hesitate to help or ask any questions about how he has been treated lately. He just helps.
