God's Protection

In the account of the life of Abraham, this part seems very familiar. As Abraham traveled to the region of the Negev, he came across another king that took his wife. This king, like the first one, did not know Sarah was Abraham's wife because he told her to lie again and say that she was his sister. Now, God held up his end of the promise... AGAIN, but why didn't Abraham have faith enough to trust God? Especially at this point in his life.

How often do we find ourselves in the same place? Does God allow us to fall into these situations or perhaps even guide us into these situations? Why? Is it to test us? Is it to teach us? Ultimately, we find that the solution is actually right there in front of us, just trust God... put our faith in His promise.
